The Mask : Miles Davis
When a friend of mine hit a rough patch, sometime in the late 80’s, she sold 40 or 50 of her Miles Davis records.
This seemed like a desperate measure, especially as I would have fronted her some money if she’d asked.
“Nah, I don’t need his records. If I want to listen to Miles, all that music's already here inside my head.”
One of the few albums she kept was JACK JOHNSON.
